On Friday, 24 October, we celebrated Underdale’s Class of 2025. The morning began with a hot BBQ breakfast for our senior cohort followed by a heartfelt Farewell Assembly, reflecting on their journey, their achievements, and the memories that will stay with them long after they leave our gates.
The assembly included a musical performance by two of our talented year 12 students as well as speeches by our senior prefects. Teacher awards were handed out with love and laughter to the following staff members:
Inspiration Teacher Award – Ms Vetri
Best Explainer Award – Jointly awarded to Mr Graham, Ms Harrop, and Ms Fitzgerald
Kind Teacher Award – Ms Anemouri
Positive Teacher Award – Mr Lane
Night Owl Award – Ms Prisco
Most Engaging Lessons Award – Mr Hilditch
Teacher of the Year Award – Jointly awarded to Ms Hadar and Mr Lane
During the assembly our R.O.C.K Cup award was given to our courageous Tarnta House – well done to everyone who earned house points this year!
We also farewelled 9 international students who had their own celebration on Wednesday, 22 October. We wish them all the best for the next adventures both here in Australia and all over the world.
This was a very special day to honour our Year 12’s hard work, friendships and growth as they prepare for the next exciting chapter. We can’t wait to see what they achieve out in the big wide world.
